The Perfect Green Smoothie

If you're like me, green smoothies are great in theory, but taste like grass when they hit your tongue. I'm still getting used to the taste of pureed veggies, so I needed to make something that tastes good but has a serving of vegetables in it. I promise you and your taste buds that this smoothie is DELICIOUS...and you won't feel like you're taking a bite out of the Narnia forest (although that would probably taste awesome!) #nerd

What you need:
  • 1 banana
  • 1 handful of frozen mango chunks
  • 9 green grapes
  • 1 cup packed baby spinach (don't be scurred)
  • 1 1/4 cups ice
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

Directions:
  1. Prepare your ingredients. I like to thaw my frozen mango chunks in the microwave just for about 25 seconds or so.
  2. Place ingredients in your blender in this order: ice, banana, spinach, mango chunks, grapes, almond milk
  3. Blend until you can no longer see the individual ingredients.
  4. Enjoy!

What's your favorite non-grass-like green smoothie? Share below! ;)

Love always,
