If you're like me, green smoothies are great in theory, but taste like grass when they hit your tongue. I'm still getting used to the taste of pureed veggies, so I needed to make something that tastes good but has a serving of vegetables in it. I promise you and your taste buds that this smoothie is DELICIOUS...and you won't feel like you're taking a bite out of the Narnia forest (although that would probably taste awesome!) #nerd
What you need:
- 1 banana
- 1 handful of frozen mango chunks
- 9 green grapes
- 1 cup packed baby spinach (don't be scurred)
- 1 1/4 cups ice
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
Directions:
- Prepare your ingredients. I like to thaw my frozen mango chunks in the microwave just for about 25 seconds or so.
- Place ingredients in your blender in this order: ice, banana, spinach, mango chunks, grapes, almond milk
- Blend until you can no longer see the individual ingredients.
- Enjoy!
